Our best-selling journal, Ann Voskamp?s One Thousand Gifts Journal, is available for this month only!
This journal is not your everyday journal, but rather it is a Family Gratitude Journal!
What does a Gratitude Journal entail? We?re glad you asked! In today?s blog, we are going to take you through the detailed pages you will find in this journal. So, let?s get started!
Like we mentioned before, this journal is not your typical, everyday, write-your-thoughts-down journal. When Ann Voskamp wrote this journal, she intended it to capture the messy and beautiful moments, people, and things in your life you are grateful for.
Our hope is when you write in this journal, you?ll write your authentic thoughts, feelings and memories. While this journal is structured, we encourage you to make it your own. If you like to write in the lines, do so. But if you like to get creative, don?t hesitate to bring your own flair to it!
How to Use this Journal
In the first few pages, you?ll find a ?How To? page. This page lays out the different sections and pages you?ll find throughout the journal.
Section Pages
There are 10 different sections in this journal including: Family, Home, Friends, God, Serving, Time, Nature, Dreams, Hard Times, and Joy. Each section page will have a place for you to put a photo that represents that section to you!
In each section are the following pages?
Quote Pages
On these pages you will find inspirational copy from Ann Voskamp?s book, One Thousand Gifts, as well as scripture. These pages are for you to read, share with others and even memorize.
Guided Journal Pages
With the Guided Journal Pages, you will be prompted with questions about the section you are in. Be real with yourself as you answer these questions! And if you feel like you don?t have anything to write in a section, that?s okay! Put the journal aside and save it for that day when you do have an experience to write about.
One Thousand Gifts List
The One Thousand Gifts list are pages in each section that are numbered from one to one hundred, totaling one thousand throughout the 10 sections. With these lines, begin to write what you are grateful for. Ask God to bring to mind things you may have forgotten and be amazed at how many things, people, moments God has brought into your life that you have to be grateful for!
Memento Pockets
Each section is ended with a Memento Pocket. These pockets are meant to capture the ?mementos? of that section. That could include pictures, drawings from your children, letters, or whatever you want to save.
Make this journal your own! Take a moment every day to fill out one question, or every month fill out a page! Like every journal, there is no wrong way to do it. So grab a cup of coffee, take a deep breath, and let the gratitude flow.
